Default ** New Release **- Improved the Remote Clutch Bleeder

I originally designed the C5 clutch bleeder back in the day to make my life easier in bleeding the clutch and maintaining fluid integrity.

Although a good design – as witnessed by those that ripped it off and continue to pass it off as something they designed - my C6 bleeder showed me there was room for improvement.

The improved C5 design eliminates the two-piece crush washer/adapter connection between the bleeder line and the slave cylinder, simplifies assembly and gives the customer a price break.

Introductory price – $59.95

Do you have to drop the torque tube to install it ?

No, but it is very tight to install this without do so.

No this price is not a shipped total. I will be out on vacation this coming week but A&A has them in stock if you need it sooner.

Thanks,

Here is a photo of my C6 remote - note that the slave end threads in, seals on the taper, just like OEM. The new C5 adapter is now the same. Hope this helps.

Has anyone ever managed to do this? The answer to this question means the difference in this job taking a couple of hours or taking an entire weekend...

Based on the photo's, it looks like it could be possible with some patience, but I imagine if you weren't too quick on the install the thing would gravity bleed all over. Aren't the end on the main disconnect self sealing, if you disconnect the two lines prior to starting this it may not make too much of a mess. Just thinking out loud.

I would be interested in seeing this installed w/o dropping the tube. If anyone picks one up and tries to tackle this could you please take & post pics?

If it's possible I may be picking one up soon. Do you have any install instructions available to show how tight of a squeeze it is to do with little to no disassembly work?

I just referred a friend to you, I'll be checking his out in about a week once he has his clutch installed.

I guess if you have thin forearms and can reach the stock bleeder to bleed the car, you can install this. Guessing, but it looks like it you tap into/replace the stock bleeder bung. Difficult and messy, Yes. Impossible no. Just depends how many ways you can bend your forearm.

Good job Charlie with the ideas !

Does anyone know if the large connector between the master and slave is self sealing?

There was a thread a while back about installing a remote bleeder without dropping everything. The guy had fabbed up a special socket to make the job a bit easier. I'll have to look and see if I can find the thread.

Yes, when it's disconnected, flow stops.

Looks AWESOME!!! I had my slave apart looking at the bleeder bolt and wondering why the remote bleeder could not be built with a longer tube... this way you can install it without tearing out the torque tube..

Looks like your new design does exactly that.. nice job!

Only reason he needed to fab tool was because the nipple that screwed to the slave was small and needed to be slipped through the T-tube housing..

This new design looks to have eliminated that issue...
